A Thought on Parenting

Parenting is the tedious attempt at removing the childish without tainting the child-like, as Michelangelo removed all the marble that wasn't David.

    I've always loved the distinction between childish and childlike. I think the loss of that distinction accounts for a lot of what's wrong with kids these days.
